June Galt

Author of Mama on the Edge

June Galt is a mother who has watched too many women she loves disappear into the quiet fog of postpartum depression. She is not a doctor, therapist, or clinical expert. She is a woman who has sat beside friends in the middle of the night, listened to the shame they were afraid to speak out loud, and seen how isolation and silence can turn a hard season into a dangerous one.

After witnessing the same pattern again and again—capable, devoted mothers suffering in plain sight while the world told them they should be glowing—June decided she could no longer stay quiet. Mama on the Edge was born from that urgency. It is the book she wished every struggling mother could hold in her hands: practical, honest, free of jargon, and written in the voice of a trusted friend who will not look away.

June writes with one clear purpose: to help women recognize what is happening, find the courage to ask for support, and take the next real step toward feeling like themselves again. She believes no mother should have to fight her way through postpartum depression alone, and she has poured that belief into every page.

She lives with her family and continues to advocate for open conversations about maternal mental health, one honest talk at a time.
